Following the post above, I've just been informed that the fishery will now open on Boxing Day as so many anglers expressed disappointment that it wouldn't be open.
Can I say thanks on behalf of everyone to Mark for agreeing to change his Christmas holiday and open the fishery on Boxing Day.
I do hope that you all now support the opening and actually fish that day!
Have a great Christmas and New year - hope to see you all over the holidays.

Farmoor Update w/e 3rd January
Conditions Water is now very cold with a temperature of only 4 Celcius. Frosty mornings have seen ice forming, particularly in the margins.
Farmoor I Odd fish to 6lbs mainly on small lures on sinking lines.
Farmoor II Fishing has slowed with the cold weather. Rod average for the week is 1.5 with boobies on fast sinking lines the main method. Boats are fishing better than the bank as they allow anglers to fish the deeper water where the fish are now sitting.

| Just a quick note to say that if the heavy snow we have forecast does materialise we may be forced to temporarily close the site for health and safety reasons. Please call the Rangers on 07747 640707 for more information. |

Hello from a frozen Farmoor. I'm sorry to report that the site is likley to remain shut throughout the weekend with no prospect of a thaw on the horizon, please call the Rangers phone with any enquiries you may have, as soon as we are able the site will reopen for business.

I hope this is the last time I have to report that we are closed due to the weather/snow. Subject to no more adverse weather conditions we will re-open for business on Monday morning. There is likely to be restricted access for vehicles. The car parks around the site are likely to be closed so come prepared to walk from the main car park. There will be restrictions on bank/boat fishing where the snow still lays
Bye for now

Hello
Sorry no report posted for a little while. We have had the rod average up as far as 4.3 since the begining of Jan and it now stands at 2.6 There have been a couple of stockings and some sizable fish have been introduced to both F1 and F2 The water level is quite low but should improve as the month goes on, we have a fair covering of ice today but the south west bank is clear and anglers are taking fish. The favoured method continues to be booby's fished down deep and slow. Season permit holders are reminded to renew as their permit expires today. Looking forward to seeing you all soon

Hello everyone. I am pleased to report that despite the weather and low water the fishery is continuing to give a good account. On Sunday 7th The rod average reached 4. We have had some very good fish caught, the most notable being a 9lb 13oz RB taken from the bank by Ross Cruickshank on 4/2/10 and a 10lb 6oz RB taken from a boat by Scott MacFarlane on 5/2/10. The low water is making casting a bit of a challenge but the fish are feeding, still fast sink lines and booby/minky type patterns are the most popular, some anglers are sticking with floating lines and buzzers/blood worms and are also taking fish. It looks like we are in for another cold week but don't let that put you off, so wrap up warm and come fishing, see you all soon!!!

Fishing report for W/E 14th February 2010
We continue to stock both reservoirs, last stocking during the week 2,000 RB's from on site cages and 1,800 RB’s direct deliveries. F2 continues to fish well from both bank and boat. Rod average reaching 4+. The water level is still quite low but is rising everyday TW are able to pump in. Sinking lines and lures are still the order of the day but a few anglers have had success with buzzers. The best two fish remain at 10lb 6oz and 9lb 13oz this month and the others just keep on growing.
Hope to see you all soon
